Civil Air Patrol Kids At The Field

The AMPS is very proud of its efforts to introduce the next generation to the hobby. Our latest attempt was organized by AMPS members Carlos Bonachea and his son Carlos Jr. who are also members of the Civil Air Patrol. The CAP arranged to bring the kids to the field and a group of AMPS flight instructors provided lessons to the kids.  Each of the kids flew at least twice and learn the basics of radio controlled flying. When the flying was done, the kids and instructors were treated to burgers and sodas lunch courtesy of the AMPS club.

We want to thank Mort at Crown Hobbies for donating the fuel used to conduct this session.
